Installation in collaboration with graphic artists Serena Gattini and Irene Cordoni. Presented for the first time at Carrara Unesco 2024.
Marble heart
Video projection commissioned by Carrara UNESCO 2024. The projection was displayed along Via Carriona throughout the duration of the event as visual journey through the main communication and trade route, essential for the city's economy. The video blends archival footage of marble extraction and transport restored with Adobe After Effect. The sound design was based on field recordings from the streets of Carrara, which were used as input for the visual effects with Ableton Live.
Reactive Sound Poetry
Reinterpretation of the concept of sound poetry. These videos are screen recordings while using online websites created with HTML, CSS and Javascript designed for live performance. The audio was edited with Ableton Live.
" Composition in Blu: Anomalous Frequencies "
Explores the concept of anomaly through a dynamic connection between sounds and images. Both audio and visual of the screen recording during interaction with the interactive website "Composition in Blue" were manipulated using Ableton Live. The Rokvid plug-in alters the video signal in response to the audio signal, creating a continuous and unpredictable dialogue between the two media. The emerging visual and sound distortions challenge aesthetic and perceptive conventions, inviting the viewer to confront irregularity and deviation from the norm, symbolizing the emotional and social cognitive barriers we face.

The project involves the visual transformation of audio signals into vector graphics, based on sounds recorded in various graphic art laboratories. These sounds originate from recording sessions of graphic artists engaged in techniques ranging from xylography to intaglio and screen printing.
Both the visual and auditory components of the work were developed using Ableton Live.

The sound is then processed by specific plug-ins which transform audio signals into video signals which are then manipulated and edited using the above software. This project can be installed as an audiovisual on a screen or projector or in some specific cases it can be performed live. During a musical performance, it is possible to record sounds and translate them into visual signals, adding synesthetic and immersive value.

An abstract interpretation of the book "Ithaca, Finally" and The Odyssey, featuring visual and auditory references. The video was created using Adobe After Effects, the sound was designed in Ableton Live.
