Portrait of a moment of thoughts in which I wonder my cultural heritage, subject that always brings self-conflicting emotions. This piece represent this melancholy moment where distorted fragments of Italian folk songs resonate in my head. It includes musical references of Luigi Nono and lyrics from Giorgio Gaber, Fabrizio De Andrè and Rosa Balistreri.

Aleatoric music score for solo oboe. Inspired by the partisan Italian folk music "Fischia il Vento", the official anthem of the Garibaldi Brigades. The melody was later used during the Resistance for the famous Soviet folk song Katjuša, composed in 1938 by Matvej Blanter and Mikhail Isakovskij.
